Valeri Bennett of England is an embroiderer extraordinaire.  Her favorite color is pink, so I sent her a block with many shades of pink and greens with white, red and forest green thrown in as accents.  You can visit her website here.

Note how she embroidered every seam plus inside the patches.   She also included some curving wandering lines, to move your eyes through the block.  This block looks absolutely lovely in actuality and I will soon be framing it in a special embellished frame.

In the lower right corner I have pieced in a fan block...a common motif in crazy piecing.
