Like many of you I have enjoyed making fabric covered bowls using Linda Johansen's book, "Fast, Fun and Easy Fabric Bowls."  But I can't leave well enough alone.  I figured since you divide the large fabric square with the smaller fabric square (the bowl base) then you could actually divide the large square into four smaller squares made from different fabrics.

That's what I've done in this red bowl.  There are 4 different Oriental prints (plus the base print) on one side and one large scale red Oriental print on the outside of the bowl.
